The Made in Nigeria Awards have been conceptualized and are being organized by The Business Executive Media Group, a Ghana domiciled, but majority Nigerian owned business publishing and special events company with activities across Africa, particularly the West African sub region.

This unique awards scheme aims to identify and publicly recognize manufacturers domiciled in Nigeria that produce the best quality, best value proposition products and services with a view to promoting local brands, products and services that are best placed to compete favourably on both domestic and international markets, against imported products and services.

Awards will be conferred on producers of made in Nigeria goods and services following a comprehensive and credible awards selection process comprising several stages, beginning with nominations from the public, through verification of the contents of nominations, assessment of nominations against the agreed awards selection criteria and ultimately deliberations on the shortlisted nominations by a specially constituted Awards Selection Jury who will decide on the winners in each of the delineated categories of type of products/services and type of activity’

Award winners will be conferred with their awards at a gala, five star awards conferment event scheduled to be held in Lagos, Nigeria later this year. The event will be preceeded by a forum at which stakeholders will exchange ideas on how to promote made in Nigeria goods on domestic and international markets and an exhibition of a selection of made in Nigeria goods and services that offer exemplary value propositions.
